M Garmin sounder is starting to act up . Sometimes it gives me the depth sometimes it doesn't. sometimes it gives me a bottom display and sometimes it doesn't The GPS and Radar both work. Is ti time for a new transducer?

does it fade away when your running?

is it transom or thru hull?

thru hull, and when running I lose the the bottom and the depth sticks on one reading. I sometimes get a normal bottom reading but the depth reading is rarel working , I can tell depth by the view

Hard to say....its either the ducer or the sounder box. Did it work correctly ever or is this a new problem?

Have you inspected the cables? Also incorrect voltage will sometimes cause the sounder to go nuts...

The Gps and sounder have always worked well, the temp has not worked . I still read 13 volts
