Sent a warranty item in to Furuno and it arrived at their Camas facility on 2/17. Techs were working on the unit almost immediately. By Friday 2/20, they determined the unit was defective and not only replaced the unit, but replaced it with an upgraded model for me at no charge and shipped it back to me at their expense. Your mileage may vary, but every dealing I've ever had with Furuno support has been 2nd to none.
And before someone tosses in the "if it was so-and-so's unit it wouldn't even need repair" zinger, it was an Airmar manufactured item that Furuno is supporting.
Thats good to hear. I am about to put a Furuno package on my boat with an Airmar transducer. Its nice to know the company stands behind not only their stuff but stuff that works with their unit.
