I have a friend who ordered his two months before we did in NJ and they still have not arrived. We ordered in the end of April.

12" displays are starting to trickle out faster and faster. We are just about caught up at this point.

I hear the cartography is useless until they come out with the upgrades which are gonna cost big bucks too.

    Unhappy

Just canceled my order today for two MFD12's with 6kw open array from Consumers'. It's been too long and I'm tired of waiting. I don't know what I'm going to do, but it will not be Furuno.

We tried them out on Saturday. Very nice! A lot to learn also. We went with the twin screen set up. I was anxios to use them and did not take time to look at any manuals. We have a 4 hour training session scheduled this coming Saturday morning from the company that sold / installed for our Whaler dealer.

My Furuno Navnet 3D 12" MFD's were installed a few weeks ago and I couldn't be any more dissatisfied !! The charts are simply pitiful. When you zoom in on the Raster charts everything becomes magnified and distorted, offshore contours are not there, and the vector charts are useless. I could go on and on. Cool features ie time zero do not mean much with incomplete charts.

Believe me, I would love to put a positive spin on this situation, unfortunately after spending a couple weeks using the NN3D I cannot. I would recommend keeping NN2 or go to another product. If Furuno timing for chart fixes is anything like their delivery schedule I am in for a long wait for acceptable charts.

Sea Dog - Have you updated yet? I only ask as ours were installed a week & 1/2 ago. We had training session this morning from Martec. He bought along an update for the raster and vector maps. You may want to check into this.
