Fuel tank treatments?
Has anyone used or know anyone who's used one of these fuel tank sealers?Supposedly it coats the inside of a fiberglass tank so that E-fuel is a non issue, but I'm of the opinion that if this stuff worked,I'd have heard and read a lot about it.We've got twin Mercs on the back, and it would be way expensive to have to replace them, thanks.

there's absolutley no way to use the new fuel with a fiberglass tank...sorry...i'm not sure who told you about a coating, but trust me,that's not true...you're gonna have to replace the fiberglass tank with aluminum...sorry...i've replaced quite a few bertram fuel tanks...

It is indeed a Berty.63 express25.It had been sitting for two years, the former owner never used e-gas,so we hadda pull the tanks. The problem is that the tanks are a really oddball shape(as you may be aware)and it'll cost a fortune to have copies made.
Thanx for the reply. |
