    Fuel....

Ok guys here it is and you can argue, ***** or make excuses for this new etanol fuel B.S. that we are forced to be putting in our tanks. But this crap is so bad for your lawn mower to your outboard / inboard engine. We are having to use additives for each gallon of fuel we put in our boats and it is costing a lot of extra $ in mechanical issues and labor. Think about this also... MOST outboard engine shops are staying alive from the damage this crap is doing. Most fishermen to your jet skier is having craped out weekends because of this stuff, NOT THE FIRST engine company (yama, honda, suzuki, e-tek, merc or tohatsu ) will pay for any warrantee work due to ethanol issues / fuel issues!!! CALL them if you do not believe what I am posting! the 250 yama 4 stroke fuel float pops and sinks, it eats the metal parts even... we need to wake the hell up! Still don't believe me ... google 'class action lawsuits ethanol fuel' .. just do your state then look at every other state ... not only do we have this crap going in our tanks the engine company's are not standing up and saying anything... no filter can keep out the damage! it eats your fuel lines and try this.. take off your primer ball - set it out in the sun for a day then try to squeeze it.. it is time to realize this is not good and additives are not the answer. PS it is not allowed at all in any aircraft...

    That why...

you should have engines that use fuel and not gas. Just kidding, but seriously I don't see the love for outboards. They are becoming extremely expensive, don't have near the life of a diesel engine, the E fuel is an issue, and there is an awful lot of stuff hanging off the back that could be easily tucked into the bilge.

Man I love the smell of diesel in the morning. It smells like victory. All you have to do is give them fuel & air and they run, and run, and run, and run, and run..............

Thumbs down Here's what I think about diesel emisions in the morning!

I will give you A couple more reasons why so many people are going to outboards.Quieter, price of fuel is cheaper, and they are easier to perform general service work and if you need to repower you can just drop them off the back in less than A day.I know outboards have become expensive but the cost to repower A diesel boat compared to an outboard boat?outboards have come A long way from what they once where and are probably close to if not better than the reliability aspects of A diesel.Pertaining to 4/stroke only motors and not Vrods. You outta think about getting you some

    Post Fritz.

Unless if you have A boat in your size boat class with A wide open engine room.Just getting the hatch doors open on some of the smaller diesel powered boats can be A problem and then being cramped up to get to necasary filters can be fatigueing.yup different strokes for sifferent folks thats for sure!lol
