front windscreen on sportfisher

hi there guys , can anyone please tell me what is used on the front windscreen (no window) of the newer sportfishers ? it"s mostly black and follows the lines of the side windows. is it painted on or is some sort of vinyl used ? thanks in advance

It's a painted detail.

If you're considering doing it make sure they should clear coat with a UV inhibitor.

Also if you are considering doing this make sure to use a metallic paint to help reflect the heat and not a solid black,i have seen a 30 degree temp difference from the white area to the black.

thanks wayne , do you mean a "metallic" in the black paint , or a special purpose black "reflective" paint ?
