Fountain 31 TE w/Merc 225's any Experience With These?

If you've owned or fished these in the past what's your take on these in terms of ride, overall construction, fit & finish and fishability. Pro's and Con's associated with this model? Are 225's enough power for this boat?

I fished in one in ASA awhile back kinda narrow but 225's will be high 50's with a load likes to run above 4500 Very stable for fishing more so than anything close to the same ride quaility 250 efi's pushed the one I fished 67 in the Ocean faster in protected water

Great machine ! mine had 225 opti's 04's boat ran 42 mph @ 4000 rpm and sipped fuel at 2 mpg ! Top speed lite was 64 mph ,and loaded was 58 mph ! Traded it with 1200 hours ,do miss it .It's still on the Fountain site under 31 te pictures and video.We were running 54 mph off of Va. beach Jan 07 !At rest fishing layed tight to the water with out the trad. snap . At rest with 3-4 guys in the stern corners your feet could or would get wet . The scupers are almost level with the sea . Small price for a great all around runner.
