There were a ton of people from around the world on hand at the show today, it's my first time here and while I'm sure attendance was down there were plenty of folks here today. I hit the Bahia Mar side of the show and went through the thousand or so booths in the tents and as many of the boats as I could.
Got to do some cool things that'll be up on the site next week once the video edits are finished but you'll see some cool boats from the inside out. I got a great tour of the Viking 50 convertible to start the morning, and got the inside scoop on the new Davis 34 center console from none other than Buddy Davis himself which was a real honor.
Also finally got to see the new Midnight Madness which is perfectly named, five 350-hp Mercury Racing outboards and just sickening speed. Midnight Express outdid themselves in the horsepower department once again.
There was just so much to see at the show, and while much of it was centered around yacht building and accessories more than fishing there was incredible stuff throughout.
Tomorrow is our last day at the show unfortunately but it should be a good one before I head back to the chilling cold back in New Jersey. There are still an overwhelming number of boats that I want to try to bring to you all at home. It's the biggest show I've been to, probably beats out Miami for total size. I know that there is more here than can be seen in any stretch of time but I'm going to give it my best to see every last bit and bring it all here to you tomorrow.
Here is a ton of photos from throughout today's show and I've got my list set for my last tour so don't forget to stop by for one more blast from the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
