Final U/W Lights questions
Okay, given the options available on the market for reasonably priced, surface-mounted LED underwater lights, I have come to the following choices:
1. OceanLED Amphibian Pro A12 blue
2. Abyss S1515 blue
Anyone with comparative information on these 2? the OceanLEDs are a bit more pricey but probably brighter.
Lastly, my beam is 14.5'... would I need 2 or would 3 be best?
Thanks for any information!

I have been partial for Abyss lights. I have installed them both, and found them to be equally bright. Ocean LED is a larger company, and parts are more readily available. Although with LED lights, if they ever fail, you just get new ones.

"If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving"
We have had the Amphibian A6 lights on our stern for one year now, and they have performed flawlessly. On the bottom edge of the stern, we placed two A6 lights, port and starboard sides, and they lit up the water nicely last summer in the canyons. Our stern is only 9 feet across. So you may want to go with three if you have the room. However, you are going with A12s, and just two may be enough to do the trick. If money is no object, then three would be even brighter. What you'll notice is the lack of amp draws on your batteries. With my old lights, it was a big concern, but now we have no worries.

I have 2 A12 pro's in white on the back of my boat. My beam is 14'5 & they light up the whole stern & out about 10' to 12'. I got the white because they are the brightest.
