    The only other choice is IF you could remove the console leaving the t-top bolted to the floor but that's not likely to be an option.

    Nah, the vertical pipes are weleded to plates which are bolted to the console, but the pipes continue down and bolt underneath the deck as well, if you can picture that.

    Is there room inside the console to cut a single moderate hole
    then be able to reach the bolts on either side? You would still need to drill them out from the top, but at least you could bolt them back down properly.

    You could still put a hatch plate over that hole - with a lot less risk of breaking it...

    are you sure the t-top is thru bolted ??? i've yet to see a t-top that's thru bolted...

    haha. Seems to be the common denomitar in all my posts huh?

    I think I'm getting it worked out. I won't take it on until the spring anyway so I have a while to think about it. God forbid, doing projects in the spring I'm going to kick myself for this one

    Oh, and when I said I think I'm getting it worked out, that doesn't mean stop with the suggestions. They're very helpful
