what Im saving for

my opinion...i have a marine service...i do extensive fiberglass and electrical repairs...i restored a 23 sea craft i/o boat repowered with a merc 350 horizon package with a bravo 1 drive, transom was replaced, huge fiberglass repair on bottom-after stripping the bottom paint off.reiwred, set it up with a trick 3 battery system, new electronics-all flush mounted into the console.the hull was regelled in the original yellow and all the hardware was replaced as well as the rub rail-with all that...they are my favorite boat, built like a tank and ride great-i'm not a big fan of the i/o set-up but you can't beat the fuel economy of the mpi engines.
those boats fitted with an outboard bracket are a crime against nature!! they look terrible and they're even tougher to fish out of-the inboard version is the best set-up out there-clean transom to fish off and that big boat exhaust sound!!! shame they don't make 'em like that anymore!!!!![]()

Contender... Regulator if you like fluff. If you want ballsy blue water rocetry... Contender... I sold boats for a while. I see a lot of good ones listed here but contender was born to fish... There I said it. Not going to back down or take any grief over it...![]()
worked on 'em all.... the new exotic core materials, save an incredible amount of weight...contender is a great rig ...the regulators are equally as good
IMHO,the trend towards triple outboards is a little "over kill" the speed advantage vs the extra cost in fuel and up keep of 3 instead of 2 engines really doesn't justify the triples.
but if you've got the $$$$$ who cares right??????![]()

REGULATOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
32 mirage with inboard diesels...
I'd settle for a 36 contender fisharound though...![]()
Best center console I've ridden on to date is a friends 26' Regulator. I tell ya though we took a friends 25' Parker offshore a couple days ago and for a hell of a lot less money the Parker did great all day and lots of fishing room.

My favorite all time CC is the 36' Contender. These boats take rough seas like there's no tomorrow.
