CC's witha diesel is awesome. I fished a SeaVee with the motor in the console and man that thing rocked. It didn't budge in the head sea. It was a little slow then the outboards, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Tripleheader, How's that 26 Reg drifting in the nasty?

Gotta agree on the SeaCraft - had one 3 years, went when i shouldn't, with twin 200's it was a rocketship. Now my CC is a 26' Glacier Bay - in that size range i haven't found anything close. I loved my partner's old 33' Hydrasports that was a damn fine ride. Would love to ride in a 36' Contender or Intrepid to see if I am missing anything

    Love those old seacrafts

LOL, those on the board who know me already know how i feel about my boat. I have a 1978 seacraft inboard with a now 11 year old 350 mag gas. (wish it was a deisel). Its not very fast (slow actually) but a center console(or any boat) in this size range that rides better i have not yet been on. best part- it raises fish too

Miles nice looking fish catcher you have there.im thinking about restoring a 73 and putting a salt shaker bracket on it.With a pair of 115 yamahas.that would make it a 25 lol.

I have a 32 Mirage with twin Volvo Penta 200hp I/O Deisels. MY one and only complain is the exact concern you mentioned about the low gunnels. The gunnels hit me on the high side of the shin. We have combated that short coming by fighting the majority of the fish from the bow. It really has not been much of a concern after a year of trial and error. Besides that I absolutely love the boat. She raises fish with the best of them. I burn less the 75 gallons on a canyon trip and I run at 30 knots on a decent day. Whats not to like.

Undisputed and Anthony's Ark very nice boats.

I went to the Mirage factory last year and they are top notch guys. I think its my dads dream boat. We both love a CC and a place to sleep and get out of the weather. Hes in his mid fiftys and I'm 27 so we have our differences in boat. I'd love to see a picture of her!

Undisputed, I'm sorry for asking but are you the guy I met at the AC boat show in the contender booth. We talked about videoing each other this summer and seeing each other in the same tournaments. If you are the guy very sweet, and if not still awesome to see you here, and you got one hell of a boat there. John's Hydra will have the same motors.

    Very Cool man

I thought that was you cause there aren't many trip 275 on 36 contenders around here. It'll be interesting to see how these boats run this season. I'm sure you're realy stoked to get out there. Good Luck and I'll stay in touch

Im a marine surveyor and recently surveyed a 33' World Cat. This boat isnt the best looking boat, but what a ride. We sea trialed it in 5' close together slop. I told the captain dont go in the ocean I dont want to get wet. He said you wont get wet and if you do Ill give you $300 to go buy dry closes so you can finishthe survey. We never got wet, not one drop. This boat was so sturdy, and fast it was like we sere litteraly riding on a cushion of air. The motors are spread 80" apart so the boat spins like a twin screw boat. I will tell you what I have been on hundreds of boats from the biggest P.O.S. to the nicest of nice, for a center console that fairly reasonable in price I would definatly consider one if I was buying a boat of that style. Oh yea I forgot to mention not only am I a surveyor I also sell World Cats, just kidding.

Bobby said it!!! WORLD CAT WORLD CAT WORLD CAT. . . i know they may be ugly, but once you go cat, you never go back. . .you just cant beat the ride and they are built like a tank!
