    EZ2CY Enclosure for 43 Cabo

Looking to replace the eisenglass on my Cabo 43 with EZ2CY. Will put on front & both sides with the ability to have the sides slide forward for easy access of the outriggers. Got a quote of almost 10k and that seems really high. Anyone had this done recently or have ideas of pricing.
    Thanks

Just a guess, but done right, $8k at a good (but fair) price. Half-a**ed, $2,500. Way over pay (and real good, but not perfect), $10,500 (or more).

ps - I came up with that before reading the part about the quote you got. And I stand by my prediction, but add that if you are not paying $6k (call it $5k in this economy), the workmanship won't be really great, unless you spend a lot of time figuring out exactly how it should be and put that in the specs.

    Costa Clear Elite

Call Costa Marine Enclosures in Egg Harbor Twp and ask for "Costa Clear Elite Glass". It is OEM for many of the N.J. boat builders. Awesome stuff.

I had ex2cy come out and give me an estimate 4 yrs ago for my 35 express and it was 11,500. I ended up having a local guy do it with polycarbonite (hard clear plastic) for half the price. As far as the look and fit finish, they could not have done any better than Fred did.
