    Ethanol RX

Anyone use or have an opinion on this product.

    http://www.ethanolrx.com/

    http://www.sentrytreatments.com/

Seems one is used for initial treatment and one is used for maintenance.

go to your local Napa store...

buy a product called sea foam to run in your engine with a small gass can <~~ (1 gallon ) if it sits for a cpl months.. use stabil, startron or any other ethanol reducing / additive after that EVERYTIME you fuel up! write a letter to your congress man or woman and tell them this stuffs horse crap also and the same goes with the cost to make it... If your motor starts to cut out when you are running ... slow your happy lil butt down and carry it to a good mechanic and have them clean out your VST tanks and screens. If you do not keep up with this fuel problem it will shoot deposits through the screens .. (yes it WILL go by every filter you have..) and clog up your fuel injectors ... all this means $ big money if you push it because then it equals out to fuel pumps and running a cpl cylinders lean... sorry to be telling you this... and also remember that NO FUEL issue is covered by warrantee so don't fight with them just find a good mechanic and get it done.. average cost is $450.00 each motor.. (times how many people in America???) have a great day ...

Use whatever works for you, but be cautious about using emulsifying products. They can cause carbon deposits that can lead to rough performance.

Ethanol RX is an emulsifier, according to one of our fuel consultants.

Jack... I would not use it either...

you have gaskets ..o-rings and other things like fuel lines to think about ... plus the spark plugs need something that goes boom not "I am cleaning your cylinder walls..." <~~ don't know the proper way to put that... get clean filters.... clean fuel and the star tron or what ever bill has works for us in our mako also... it's a starbrite product... which are very good

Here's the deal on Star brite products. We use them on OUR boats. So they have to be the best out there or we ***** & moan like little girls.

We really do use our own stuff, from Star tron to 2 and 4-stroke oils (even in my new Yamaha 225) to our deck cleaners and polishes. More important, we test it on our boats long before it ever gets near a store shelf. If it doesn't work better than we expected it to, it doesn't make the cut.
If you ever buy a Star brite product and are less than happy with it, we will make it right by refunding the money or sending you different product.
