I WAS IN THE MARINE CANVAS BIZNESS FOR 30 YEARS...(RET)

TRUST ME...GO CUSTOM HERE

STRATAGLASS CLEAR 40 GUAGE

STAMOID VINYL TRIM DOUBLE COATED

USE MARINE GRADE POLYESTER 2" VELCRO FLAPS INSTEAD OF ZIPPERS TO MAKE THE CURTAIN TO CURTAIN CONNECTION

I HAVE SOLD HUNDREDS LIKE THESE AND NO COMEBACKS

...................of course....i am retired now and have no store

I LOVE IT.....NO MORE SEWING

YES SMOKE......ONE CURTAIN ACTUALLY EXTENDS TWO INCHES OVER (FLAP) THE ADJOINING CURTAIN AND VELCROS DOWN TO THE SWEN IN VELCO ON JOINGIN CURTAIN....THIS WAY YOU HAVE TIGHT CURTAINS , WINTER AND SUMMER....EXPANSION /CONTRACTION

THE KEY IS POLYESTER (HARD TO GET)

ALL THREAD - BOBBINS MUST BE POLYESTER AS WELL

I PROBABLY HAVE SOME I CAN SPARE FOR YA

I NEED A PICTURE OF YOUR BOAT /CURTAINS

GIVE ME THE HEIGHT OF THE CURTAINS...TOP TO BOTTOM WHERE A ZIPPER WOULD NORMALLY GO

I HAVE THE VELCRO AS WELLL I THINK

WHITE OR BLACK

Supplies

If the Box don't have what you need, thread, strataglass, velcro, whatever he can't dig up let me know and I will probably have it.

Good idea Marty had with the Velcro. I made mine with zippers and the contraction between cold and warm does make it harder to close.

YOU CAN IN SOME CASES ...ADD ONE SIDE OF A ZIPPER TO MAKE A "CONTRACTED' ZIPPER WORK......IN OTHER WORDS ...SEW A SECOND "HALF" ZIPPER JUST TO THE SIDE OF THE ALREADY EXISTING ONE....THIS WILL GAIN AN EXTRA 1/2 INCH

IF ONE NEEDS TO INSTAL A SMALL BOAT CURTAIN IN COLD ASS WEATHER AND HE CANNOT MAKE THE "STRETCH ' FOR IT TO SNAP.....
AND THE BOAT IS NEARBY A "CLOTHES DRYER".....I HAVE PUT THE CURTAIN IN A CLOTHES DRYER WITH A COUPLE TOWELS....HEAT IT UP ...THEN QUICKLY WRAP IT IN A BLANKET....AND RUN OUTSIDE TO INSTALL IT....
SHE WILL GO ON THEN !
