I bought a new Merc 15HP 2-stroke here in South Africa earlier this year and the engine seriously lacks power. I am unable to make contact with the local supplier or Brunswick agent or to get any support and had to resort to using a friend's 15HP Mariner, which works like a charm. The guys who supplied the boat and outboard just tell me this combination usually works fine and are therefore not interested to help. I have tried different props and transom heights, this motor is simply under powered and runs like a 10HP!

Can anyone help me with contact details for Brunswick or their agents in South Africa ?
