    Duck Skiff Update

Wind has been blowin for a couple of days now, but it did allow us to get all of our tournament prep done.

I even had time to work on dad's skiff a little.

He was down a couple of weekends ago and pretty much did a full day on it.

after we cut limber holes (they allow the bilge water to travel through the bulkheads and stringers so you can drain the boat) we are ready for planking!

    17+ -

I was shooting for 17' but the stem rake makes it alittle longer.

probably end up about 17'6" X 6' beam

    Yes

I got no idea what it is gonna weigh, the old man wants it light so he can drag it across the mud after the tide goes out

It will have a bow cap, from the first bulkead forward to the stem, and have dry storage underneath.

It will be propelled by a 25hp tiller.

Yes I would like to build another after this one, email me an let me know what you want.

Captain Jay. I will be at Pirates cove in late July. I will email you a few weeks before and at that time hopefully we can arrange a time to come down to Hatteras and take a look at her. Thanks.
