Duck Skiff - Right Side Up!

Right Side Up!

I rounded up an all star team to help in the flipping Sunday, It went pretty smooth, I did not get any pics of the actually flipping primarily cause I was under the boat unscrewing the jig and helping carry her.

Thanks for the Help: Bryan Perry (Frisco Rod and Gun), Captain Spurgeon Stowe (Miss Hatteras), Captain Buddy Hooper (Hatteras Fever), Captain Dan Rooks (Tuna Duck), Jeremy Hicks (Bite Me - Mate), Jeffrey Midgette (Sundown - Mate), Wayland Harris (former Porta-Poti Salesman, just kidding Wayland, Wayland is a long time customer and friend who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time)

Went pretty smoothly, I had undone the whole jig except for the transom station and the stem, the first thing we did is Chainsaw the stem loose, then while everyone was holding it, I unscrewed the last station from underneath the boat. We carried her out and rolled her over on the trailer.

I then received several unsolicted opinions on everything about the boat. I listened intently to all of the expert opinions.

Now some pics.

This shows where the shear will be cut down to, I left it a little proud so I could adjust the shear as necessary

airbrush you some ducks down the side! and get some swivel seats in it before season! how many can it hold? you should look at the torqueedo electric outboards also! oar locks make great bush / blind holders! I miss duck hunting...

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors....but
they all exist very nicely in the same box.
