Mary - Just wanted to reach out as I saw you left Coty. I hope everything is OK. If there is anything I can do to help you please say the word. You were very good to me when i was looking at a contender even through I I did not purchase one. I hope you know that had I not had to get rid of my parker I would have gotten that 31T - still my favorite boat. Anyway let me know if I can help in any way.

    Hi Mary,
The "Sturgeon General" suggested that I email you because I posted a general
question about Clearwater boats. I like the idea of buying a new boat, but
don't want to break the bank. It's extremely hard to tell the quality of
these boats by the pictures, but I am sceptical. He said that you would
give me a straight answer about them.
Sorry for the intrusion, and thanks for your consideration,

    Hey Jim

Did you hear back from Tailwalker? Great group of guys over there! If you need any help while dealing with them let me know.

Give me a call it will be easier to talk over the phone as far as what is what and what I think.

Are you looking to move up in a Regulator at all?

I am sure that I can help you with what you are looking for.

Feel free to give me a call on my cell 609-713-5540

One of the problems that we run in to every now and again is with dealers not wanting to take newer trades but there is ways to deal with that.

    Talk to you soon

Thanks for getting back with me, I am Charleston, SC and I fish out of the same location. I just found a dealer not too far and emailed them as well, I haven't heard from them yet. I am looking for 34-36 ft center console w/twin 350's, I currently have a 2007 26ft Regulator and am looking to move up in size. I typically use the boat for offshore bottom fishing and trolling. I am just trying to find the best deal out there (new).

    Thanks!

That would be a huge help with the charter boats!

People misuse thier advertising by far more than anything.

Its not just paying for an ad every month, how about posting good quality pictures and reports that are not long drawn about and boring in general. Keep your name flowing, you can only be a big has you name goes. Not saying towards you but just in general

If ANYONE has any questions on How to and How do I please pick up the phone and say hey! Help me understand this process! I would be more than happy to talk you to it and thru it and answer any questions you may have!

I told John that I am going to help to elevate this problem for him and I will do everything in my power as a friend to do so!

Lets help the big brother out!

    Great thread Mary,

You are right about more fishing related vendors stepping up to the plate. This site has a wealth of info and could have much more. I have a friend going to the outer banks and he asked me about charter boats in the area. I looked on the site and got him the ones close to where he was staying. I know there are a lot more on this site than the few I saw under charters.

Same thing applies to destinations. We have several members who can arrange foreign destinations(Gene Kelly fr. Montauk for example) He should have a link. There are numerous people here that travel to fish. That is how I ended up here. I was looking for new places and was hoping to find more info here. I did find a lot here. I know if I want to go to Cow Town,Mex. I will call Josh. If I go to PR I am calling Mike and Caroom. The list goes on and on but it would make it easier if they had links in one central location. Like Vinnie I also look in the back of the Mags and I see people advertising who are members here. I might be wrong but the way I see it this site is free for people to come on and look and join. This site should be a place where all those people have an ad and a link to their website. What they should realize is novice or new fishermen would have to go out and buy the magazine just to look at their ad while they can surf the net and end up here for free. Just my .02

I jave mentioned it over and over on this siteas well as personally. You embody everything I would want in a representitive of my product or company were I still active in manufacture and sales. That being said, I make that observation from a couple different sources.
First... Any time I have consulted with you on a boating level you have gone over the top to see that my questions were answered or needs met in a professional and expeditious manner.
Next.... The demeanor and professionalism you exhibit on this site, Sportfishermen.com is clearly visible in virtually every post you make... That being said. Were it not for SFC, my view of your work ethic would still be a good one but not so nearly reinforced.
When I was active in production and sales of product, even in its infancy, SFC provided an excellent platform to work from. A marketing must have! My charter business aquired a large % of its clients again from SFC. Even in my current capacity of freelance captain just mere mention of my availability on this site results in tremendous response...
My future activities in the marine field are uncertain at this time but if any capacity arises that requires or would benefit by advertising, SFC would be the first place I would enlist...
