Crab mustard is good
Defiance 290 Guadalupe at Seattle boat show.
Saw some beautiful boats OceanSport, Luhrs and others, but the one that caught my attention the most was the Defiance 290 Guadalupe with twin Honda's. Big fishing deck, good size reverse step chine, and full cabin. I thought this might be my next boat. They look identical to the Parker, but half the price, and built in my backyard in Gig Harbour.
Has anyone spent any time on one? Any feedback?
I am going to go ride on one and take it out in some nasty Columbia river bar slop, but I am looking for any info.
I understand they are the sister company to Shamrock boats. Can anyone give me some feedback on the integrity of Shamrock as far as how they treat customers?

Bite me
I have been on a 25 Definace and have many friends that have fished on the 29' boat you saw at the show. It is available for charter so that may be the best way to go for a long sea trial. The same person who used to own Shamrock and Albin (both now closed) also owns Defiance. You probably met him at the show. The 29' Defiance is a ton of boat for the money, and is designed for fishing. You won't find too much to keep the wife happy unless she likes to fish hard. PM me if you would more details.
Thanks,
