Please post your pics of carolina-built custom center consoles. Would especially love to see some of the older ones by BC, Ricky, Glenn Bradley, etc.

I've been daydreaming about a 27-28' carolina hull with a porta-bracket, single outboard, and 2nd station on top of the t-top. Would be the ultimate do-it-all (inshore, nearshore, some offshore) rig for me.

look for a BD built (not EH) 34' or 28' CC- great ride, well built; Davis built them under B&D Boatworks- can't go wrong with an "original" BD!

Thanks for the info... I am very familiar with Davis but have never personally felt like the center consoles looked right and have heard mixed reviews on their performance (28' and 34').
The "cap" (deck) sticks up too high above the rub rail and messes up the lines in my eyes. Having said that, I sure do love the classic big Davis boats... the ones built by Buddy and esp the earlier wood hulls.
