Thanks for the info... I am very familiar with Davis but have never personally felt like the center consoles looked right and have heard mixed reviews on their performance (28' and 34').
The "cap" (deck) sticks up too high above the rub rail and messes up the lines in my eyes. Having said that, I sure do love the classic big Davis boats... the ones built by Buddy and esp the earlier wood hulls.
tuna truck if you look at the above obx site my boat is the last picture in the gallery. It was taken prior to the t top, teak, and upper station were added. I'll post some more current photos if you are interested.
