Beautiful!
WOW WOW WOW!!!!
What an amazing boat!!!! I cant wait to see floating pictures. I am sure I am preaching to the choir on that one
Getting close!
There's just something about mahogany and Fighting Lady Yellow that just go together perfectly.
The shadow cast down the side is from a staging plank below the light fixture so it's distorting the picture slightly but that mahogany toe rail and F.L.Y paint is quite the package.

I'm seriously running out of adjectives - She is beautiful,
It will be nice to see her on the water.
Just outstanding. Love the combination....always one of my favorite colors.
Well we're on the brink of getting a lot of stuff installed and finished.
The windscreen is due back from the finisher this week painted to match the dodger. Some of you may recall that I wasn't happy with the quality of the anodize finish that it was ordered with so I decided to get it re-finished locally. The manufacturer apparently missed a step in the finishing process. They would have refinished it but I thought after looking at it that it would look nicer in a painted finish so it's been refinished in "Cloud White".
The damn prep work to get it just right is a time consuming process. But knowing first hand what's taking place it's not a surprise.
The progress is still going fast and furious. Although we had a bit of a set back with the install of the oval exhaust tubes but that has since been overcome. Other than that the progress is good. I have my fingers crossed that the non-skid will be installed on the helm deck and the forward deck by the end of the week. Especially since the last of the borders have been painted.
The bait freezer and drink box as been sent out for the copper wrap and insulation so those are expected back in a few weeks and then the final finishing of cockpit cabinets can take place.
The dodger was painted with the last coat of "Cloud White" paint last week, it was also hot coated with 3 coats of clear.
It's now as shinny as the hull.
The recesses for the struts are getting in filled so everything is nice and flush.
The forward cabin has been primed and is ready to get painted along with the bright work being done to the exposed frames.
The area to the left and right of the forward cabin and behind the galley seating will get multiple coats of varnish.
All of the mahogany fiddles for the bunks have been made and will go on once the painting and varnishing has been completed.
I'm planning on installing rod holders on those areas so the 50 series stand up set ups can be displayed and stored.
The master cabin will get 2 rod setups on each side running fore and aft and the area behind the galley seat I believe can fit 4 setups.
There will be rod storage built into the tower hard top but you can never have enough rod storage.
The bulkhead for the master cabin has been installed. The door just needs to be cut in.
Detailing is still going on in the galley seating area.
The head is now going together for the final time. Shutoff valves were installed below the shower seat and the walls are getting buttoned up. The rest of it should go quick since there has been a fair amount of detailing done on the vanity and behind the toilet.
The helm area is getting attention and the cut outs for the electronics are being done.
The area between the screen cut outs will get the Yanmar electronic engine data displays installed one over the other.
Finally a photo that does the helm pod justice.
The day cabin is almost ready for paint.
And the cockpit deck is getting attention now. Hinges are being installed on the hatches, dogs are being installed and once that's done the electrically actuated rams will be installed to open the fish box hatches.

Paul,
Yes it's black caulking.
The deck will get a final sanding once the rest of it has been installed.
There's still some perimeters boards that aren't installed yet but will be very soon.
