She is going to be one head turner. Eye candy for sure.
As usual my jaw drops every time you update the build. One thing I haven't noticed in the pics, where are you dumping the exhaust?
The exhaust is going to dump out the transom. I elected to go with an oval shaped exhaust with a custom stainless steel flange.
Flatdog, The name sure fits. Plus it will be easy to hear over the radio and it sure will look great in gold leaf across that mahogany transom. Plus something tells me she is going to play like one.
Thanks Fishfighter, I'm sure she's going to stand apart from the rest.
The helm deck is now in 545 primer. She should have the Cloud White paint installed on the helm deck by weeks end and then the jewelry starts to get installed. And then the detail crew moves down to detailing the cockpit.

Fortunate..she's really taking shape! The customization is truely amazing craftmanship..right up there with Whiticar, if not beyond ..right down to the sanding disks for temporary non-skid..brilliant idea! Who designed her..?
Mike,
I stopped by on Monday morning for a real look at Stradivarius, and these pictures really do not do justice to the project and the crew. This boat is a serious battlewagon, and she looks fast just sitting there on the blocks. The guys were busy sanding below, and I only saw the cockpit and helm areas. She is one serious fishing machine, and she going to raise some serious fish. I'm sure. The workmanship is just nuts. Again, it's great to see these skills being preserved and put to good use!

Steve,
Glad to hear that you had a change to stop by. Yep, the pictures are nice and all but when viewed as a whole, well it puts it all in perspective.
Canyongear,
As far as the designer well that's not that easy to answer. It depends on what part of the boat we're talking about. That's a long story and I sent an e-mail to someone asking the same question. Unfortunately that e-mail is in my office and I don't have access to it at the moment. But I'll post it if you're interested.
Fortunate:
Since im from New England, I would be interested. If there are issues on the design collaboration side understood..here's my email: canyongear@hotmail.com.
Years ago, I watched the 56' Picasso, being built by Whiticar Yachts, probably one of the finest craftsmanship efforts I have ever seen..perhaps you know of her? If not you should go the Whiticar site and view what pics they have, truely an amazing custom build.
If the design of Stradivarius..is well..bluntly a guarded concept..let's keep it that way no biggie.
Out..
Hi Fortunate One,
Where is the project heading at the moment?Hope to see some pics soon.Cant wait for the splash pics!!!
Hey Mike, been a while, but I've been watching the picture posts.....I am sure glad the economy didn't kill this build. She is simply awesome and I can't wait to see you post the day she launches.
Did you change her name? Stradivarius is a great name as she is a piece of artwork.
What happened to naming her after that A.B. song?
