i like the transom on that boat, just my opinion. just so you know, that was a jig boat and it was built the way the owner wanted. bobby is my uncle and buddy cannady's son. he definetly grew up in the business and builds one hell of a boat himself. If i remember correctly he built 2 boats that size at the same time. the other one wasn't a jig though. he's also built several larger boats, this one being my favorite.

Not bashing boat, design, or builder...just a simple observation. As previously stated by others..."I'd hit it."

Some one needs to make a CC boat with a kick ass bow flare and a 24 degree dead rise. It might be out there somewhere i dont know.

I think that Regulator almost has it but could use some more bow flare or something.

Bilgh has a very good point.

now if you are talking about an almost no deadrise boat that is a very good sea boat, It usually is a 20 knt boat not a 40 knot boat. If the sea is fierce to frieghtning you should not be going 40 knots, Infact some of those 40 knot÷better riding deep Vs will run terrible in bad waves off plane which might be 25 mph or less? So boating is a compromise.
very true, i don't see 40kts in my future! great thread.
