Contender Leaning Post Option's

Here you go Dave.

Here are the few different leaning post styles that can be done. Contender offers 3 styles

Fixed Back Leaning Post with 4 Rod Holders folding foot rest, cooler base, and back rest

The fixed back is the most common

The small picture off to the right has the fixed back and the optional blue water tackle center. The bottom compartment is a cooler that runs the length of the center and will hold ice up to 3 days.

As you can see by the pictures if you want the cushions to have stripes, piping or texture. The blue water center fits underneath both leaning posts.

This leaning post is also offering in a "Mini" Version if you want the extra room.

The bottom seat base on the post flips up and has storage underneath, the tray is relatively deep.

If you op for the blue water center they install a shallower tray to allow the center to fit underneath.

The do offer as an option a fridged ridged cooler that is also insulated that will slide right under. Dennis Braid also showed me a nice cooler that would work well too or you can also go with what you know

As with anything the sky is the limit of what customizations you can make.

Here are a few custom leaning posts these are on the 36's but they can be made in the right size. Research is the key with these.

Birdsall makes a few and have heard good things about their work.

The very last there pictures is on the 33T. Just in case any one noticed in those pictures and the 33t does offer forward seating.

For the bait guys at www.deathrowbaits.com if you look at the hoo pic, right below the back rest you can see 1 of 3 above deck bait tanks that has a custom bar that comes around it to hold the tank in to place with is also plumbed in

If you have the leaning post in the 4th picture from the top I have one of the fiberglass cooler/tackle lockers sitting in my boat barn. We replaced the leaning post with a Danny Gore leaning post live well combination for live bait fishing. I am interested in selling the cooler. It was used one season and then put in the building for storage, looks just like a new one. Pictures available if interested.
Thanks,
Jim

I personally believe (in pic 3) any open boat in a three, four engine or twin 350 configuration should have side support on the console seat. The triple bucket seats or twin bucket seats really work when you need them the most A boat manufacture should not let the rig out the door or dealership let the rig out the door until installed. Those boats go fazzzzzztttt Horizontal movement while your azz is vertically hovering the seat is ....... is......... Special per say !!!!!!!!!!!!

nice consoles Lucky Lady !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the buckets with live well behind

I had a super 48 made with factory gel coat when we had a 33 Palmetto. it was made by Nautical Design. To this day i have not seen a better designed LP for a CC. The only thing we had to do was beef up the back rest with supports. It was extremely comfortable.

I can post some pics if someone is looking at one.
