Regardless ... this thread has turned into something I am ashamed of starting. I just had a simple question. Guess I just should have called Contender but this is usually who I ask first because the site tends to save a lot of hoop jumping in cases like this because of others who have already tried.

So much for that!
I would just ask Mary for Help ! If i owned a " Contender " I would want her on my side before calling Contender Boat company !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Justed my 2 cents !

Cardinal Joe
I don't know her well and have only talked to her one time, but I would agree with this statement 110%.

I just want to clarify so no one has to read between the lines and assume! We all know what the word assume means Its deadly at times

Just so you know the things that I do for any of my customers is not in lieu of warranty repairs or anything like that. I do not expect anything in return. My normal return is referrals of this or that. I am not a cult I do not require any of the guys to perform circus tricks or anything like.

Some guys have pro-staff obligations with Contender but they are not under contract, its a loyalty policy more than anything.

I have customers who buy boats, and only here from them at the end of the year when its time to come out or to get a date when they are fishing to.

My blacklist is not a factory or dealer thing its my personal list. I go above and beyond a lot of people, as much as I possibly can. If a friend is not the good friend that I thought they were,I write them off. When warranty issues come, I still take care of them as if nothing has changed. Its a little complicated to understand but these type people feel the world owes them and that its all about who can step on who to get to the top and free wouldnt be enough for these guys.

Here is an example of the loyality that we have with our customers. We have a new model coming out for Miami and its still under some drawings for some topside things. No price tag put to it and no exact layout. Just overall size specs and hull My customer says Mar, I need a new boat, I am ready to go, my financing approved lets go. His loyality to me and the boats is incredibalbe and that is what I want and it takes a lot to keep people happy as day 1, 3 years and 2 Dealerships later. He will even take hull # 1 without even seeing it. Just build it and here is what I want

If anyone needs help or advice I am always willing to help out and its not just Contenders!

Tha comment was for "Just released" if you are going to spend 200k on a 33' why not buy a 36' yellowfin for the same money. I like contenders also but, there are other boats out there if you are not satisfied with contenders response.
