I was impresssed...About as dry as you can expect for a CC as well.
Joe just had to do a little touch up on some of the wire and teeth marks we left behind, sorry bro!
And thanks Contender for picking up the slip and ICE for our team, appreciate that!

I love the boat..... I have been out in some pretty snotty stuff since I got her and she does well. I must say that it hits a little harder in a head sea than I expected but that very well might just be my inexperience in running her in combination with a Southwest wind on Beaufort inlet that just wont go away . I am still getting to know how she behaves in many different situations and I finally have a pair of functional trim tabs to work with after much struggle That has much improved the situation.

All in all ... the fishing platform can not be beat. HUGE open, one level deck, massive fish boxes, good balance of space in the pit and the bow.

I have almost completely re-wired the boat, put in all new electronics, transducer, rod holders, riggers, and soon canvas .... have spent countless hours compounding, buffing, caressing , and I have become obsessed with making her perfect again.... hence the post.

Based on my previous background with warranty. If you do not mind can you email it to me too? I will respect me and Contender and you as well Promise! I looked on thier web but there is not any section on standard limited etc. All of them are pretty much the same, just worded a little different

If you wouldnt mind, just curious thats all. I will trade 2 for 1 lol

Also I do not see a warranty issue here, I haven't even seen the problem or even know what it is. Just clarifications of warranty policies All boats have problems of some sort and no boat is perfect by any means. Not even a brand new 61 Viking can be excluded and it is worth millions and millions of dollars. Most understand that with boats.

My statements with warranty and dealers is in round speaking of all boats, not just Contender because I have dealt with so many. Most of the people here do not know my background and I wanted to clarify that.

Joe can you at least agree what a dealer can do for you in a warranty situation? Is it more than most can do on thier own?

Also as a last statement I PM'ed nauti with what I can not say publicly because I run the risk of getting smacked.

If any of you have a problem with your Contender boat, I invite you to contact Chuck Arnold Contender Sales Rep for North East. Chuck handles the territories Virginia and above and North up to Cape Cod. Bill Cordes Regional Sales Manager of Contender Boats Handles the territories international Florida Texas all of the areas in between and in a sense handles all the warranty even from Chuck.

Please only contact these guys if you have exhausted the avenue of your local dealer. These guys are super super busy and the dealers are in place not just for sales, they are there for parts, service and warranty as well. All of them do a stand up job and support thier customers like no tmrw.

Like always any of you are welcome to contact me with any questions suggestions or a contact name for your local dealer. I have no problems helping anyone not just Contender owners.

I am sorry that Trayder had to take it to another level sometimes factories do not make the brightest decisions and are subject to stupidity and human error. Why some make the decisions they make is beyond me

Middle Finger contender warranty specifically mary inmann

Mary,
I'm glad you think so highly of yourself as being a contender warranty expert and representative of contender owners. I have had several contenders and have had to use your services as my voice to the contender company at which time you failed to properly represent me and my problems, not only did you fail to represent my problems but you represented me to contender as a problem customer. These issues that were experienced were issues of poor craftmenship pertaining to gel coat issues, cracks, along with issues that were not fulfilled when my so called "custom" boat was ordered. To this date after numerous attempts my issues are still unresolved and I can assure you because of your attention to my situation I will never purchase or recommend anyone to purchase another contender product. As for contender boats I think they are great boats but you make a bad name for them. I'm sure that this post is probably a waste of time and i'm sure that you've been told this before.

News to me. I do not even have the faintest clue as to who you are and to what your problems might be. Help me here

Middle Finger

i'm going to leave my first post as my last post as in regards to this subject...save yourself the embarrasment. There are a lot of people out there like myself believe me contender owners talk, and you only help a select few that can help you and your cause whatever that cause is. This post is to remind you that maybe you should take a good look at yourself and start doing some of the things you are payed to do and you tute your own horn over. Believe me you know first hand who you've screwed over, like me for example. You think real hard and you'll know exactly who I am. You and Chuck Arnold are one and the same.
