Looks like a sweet little rig although the hat trick of ladderbacks resting on the cheesy leaning post is pretty weak for such a great hull and company. I know that you can get the helm seats anyway you want them, but Contender never has impressed me in this department. That's important space and it should definitely be used for tackle center, livewell, aft facing seating, etc.

It's also a rare day when you see a sweet molded top on a Contender without ordering from the factory...very nice!

For the leaning posts its what ever you want, there has been 3 built thus far and each leaning post has been different. Think ours might end up with a drop out bolster seat or a tackle center.

Thats a factory top as well available on all the boats

It's nice that Contender allows for different options on the top and at the helm, it just boggles my mind that they allow so many boats to leave the factory with cheesy leaning posts and canvas tops...

I know you can order one anyway you desire, but I find it hard to believe that a dealer can give the same prices on custom ordered boats (as opposed to boats already in stock at dealerships). Maybe prices are the same (custom ordered vs. all ready in stock boats) in today's economy, I dunno???

Don't get me wrong, I like Contenders but the two things I pointed out seem to be very-very-very common in the Contender world. Other than the leaning post, which can easily be switched out, the boat looks awesome!!!
