I never have been able to figure out why they paint the floors of boats slippery white, other than marketing. My deck is squal blue interdeck.

I am not paying for paint at the current time and the hull is being popped from the mold today... Looking for boot stripe, bottom paint, and canvas opinions.

considering all blue or all green. I am also kicking around a red white and blue look.

I had a boat with red weblon on it , it faded in about a year and looked funky, I look for something that would be cool to stand under when it bumps 97degrees, Have you run a judge 27 yet, looks nice . what sold you?

I think a navy blue or a forest green type color would look good

1. Warped plane hull allows a 26'4" hull to be pushed with a single outboard adequately and efficiently. Boat gets over 3mpg at cruise with a single 225 Honda. The sharp hull entry also allows the boat to work through a good chop with comfort.

2. Layout that allows a lot of weather protection (from sun and cold) for my crew while fishing and family while cruising. I can get everyone out of the sun, wind, rain, etc. It also has a big open cockpit.

3. top knotch composite construction that is no rot. All hand laid glass.. Just a very well built boat

4. Small builder options like dinnette to port, cockpit steering station, power options, etc.

5. Storage.. under the dinette, under the capt chairs, under the v-berth, fishbox in the transom. tackle storage center in the back of the dinette. etc

6. Working with the people at Judge who make you feel like part of the family and offer great service after the sale. My father bought a used 2001 Judge through a private party sale and the people at Judge treated him great when he took the boat in for them to go over. They even were great in helping me sell my old boat.

7. Resale.. Judges hold their value well. I know someone who recently sold their Judge for more than they paid for it 7 years ago. Company has a good reputation.

8. Trailerable by a lot of 1/2 ton trucks

9. Classic chesapeake sexy looks It is a striped bass fishing machine!

BTW, I was all for an all black color scheme but the wife wanted some color so we went with a Navy (not royal) boot stripe and drop canvas. We went with a blue bottom paint. We will probably do the name on the side in Navy blue with a slight drop shaddow in a lighter blue that is closer to the blue on the bottom paint. I hope it looks good.
