Color Scheme: Need boot stripe and bottom paint suggestions.
I've been thinking of going with a black boot stripe and a green bottom paint. Or a blue boot stripe and black bottom paint. Anyone have any pictures of boats with Fighting lady Yellow top sides? What do you big boat guys think looks best? |

Boot stripe
Green bottom paint with black boot..............look at "Cutnail" 58 Merritt. You can see a photo of it in the 2009 custom shootout calendar..........but any of the combinations you mention look fine.

I like em all
I like green, blue, and the black. It's just a personal preference but I think all of them look good.

Fighting Lady yellow is a great color!, I would hope its origin never gets lost!, I would search for a boot stripe that few or no one else is using, be creative and search , it will come to you
you may even think if tinting the fighting lady base color and come up with your own flavor Best of luck ! |

Brokensheer,
I thought it over long and hard when I selected the "Fighting Lady" yellow for the top sides. It's just too classic to mess with. Now I did fiddle around with the white that I wanted to use on the deck and dodger side but no way would I deviate or change from the "Fighting Lady's" yellow color. That's a classic! It belongs on a boat like I'm having built. Especially with that mahogany transom. |

very cool!, The last boat I built had a seafoam hull and I whitend (if that a word ) it by 50% and sprayed the deck and cockpit with that, white just realy hurts my eyes! keep us in the loop!
