    casting deck

hey guys got a 20ft mako with front casting deck, was thinking about cutting out casting deck or part of it in center so as to have a flat deck all way to bow or at least partial in center. any body on here ever done this. if so how big a job is it? does anybody know of a good person to do this in south jersey area. have some skills myself but not sure if i want to tackle it. also any idea what this would cost? boat is a 82 20ft mako. thanks for any info or references. css

If I am not mistaken the reason for a casting deck is to give you more walking flats, as the plane of the main deck would be much smaller due to the shape of the hulls bottom getting in the way.

But to answer your question I would rate that work as med to hard depending one if you wanted to make it look like it came from the factory or not,, All the best
I will help in any way I can
