Its going to be hard to find plans for a traditional plank and frame boat. Because the old timers that still build these boats, all the plans are in their heads. They are the engineers. Good luck searching.

i made an extra $8800 dollars last week, because an architect had it in his head........and not on the plan's. i love that philosophy. keith, i dont like it though when i'm paying the bill. if i built a custom boat....it's in the plan.

hey andaman andy,
i've designed and built about a dozen 35'-45' carolina express boats over the last 10 years , i have the lines drawings but they were cold molded on a jig , something worth considering unless you really want a framed type construction. i have used applied concepts to "refine " my drawing and they do a great job but may not work if your on atight budget.
let me know if i can help , i' can sent some pictures of some of my completed boats.

Thanks for the replies guys, the guy who wanted these plans is not going forward with this any more.....
But keep the info and pictures coming as i am sure a lot of other people are looking for this information.
