If Glassmonkey doesn't put some up, maybe I can sneak next door and do some industrial espionage after hours tonight. Nah, on second thought Squid usually stays as late as I do, I'll just bring over an extra cold one and the camera, maybe he'll mug it up for me!

Bill, I'll buy the beer...Glassmonkey is getting a lot like Big Foot...you hear about it from time to time, but, you never get to see one.

I guess I've been lucky then to have seen his boat in person a few times, maybe I should call the Enquirer?

Since there aren't too many pics yet, I'll throw a couple up. Not the exaggerated style of old but boats nowadays need more room for interior so most are taking out some flare and pushing the whole side out. I don't like the "aircraft carrier" rounded bow either, like to keep them sharp and pointy, have to have a pointy end so you know which end to steer. As I've always said, flare doesn't necessarily make for a dry ride, if the water is that high up the side you're already wet if there's any crosswind! Unless you're outrunning it that is. The trick is to knock it down with strakes/chines before it gets there and gain some lift in the process.
