Lack of storage below deck is about it for anything bad on my end. You can use some creativity to increase above deck storage as well as efficiently use the large anchor and console storage. If you do a lot of live baiting I would rig the live-well systems with an in-line sea water strainer and a bigger pump as well as an additional fast water pick-up instead of the low water pickup which Cape Horn typically uses to insure the baits remain lively. The ride of the 31 is outstanding and twin F250's are a great setup for the boat. Good luck with your purchase and post a few pics when you get it rigged.

Thanks for the info.I will definately post picks soon.Any other info guys? Thanks Rob
The storage thing is over played I never needed a bunch of holes to leave crap in to get moldy.Tuff as nails rides fantastic and easy to maintain very few boats compete in value. And they fish good![]()
Boat is now in Cape May NJ, canvas coming next
week will post pictures soon thanks for the responses. Rob
Congratulations! I am designing and installing a shelving system in the console of my CH 31. That will help tremendously with the storage. Of course, it will be a month or so before I could post pictures because the boat was stolen and stripped 2 weeks ago. Having it repowered asap.
Don't congratulate me on getting updated engines as the boat was an '08 with 50 hrs on the engines.![]()
looks somewhat like a yellowbelly.. storage and boxes are a good thing!
