    Calibrating Temp on Transducer

I have an FCV 620 with a B60 ducer on the boat. I have a feeling the temp is off a bit. Is this as simple as getting a temp reading with a reliable thermometer and offsetting the temp on the unit or is there something more to it? That just sounds too easy to me but I can't figure out any different way.

    Thanks
    Fintan

    Anyone??

I've got the same problem, mine is off about 10 degrees consistently. Anybody with input? I'd appreciate it.

Most units have a offset setting in the setup menu, usally wont allow more than 10 degrees offset though, check your manuals.
