Climbed on the 52' Convertible at the Miami show, nicest Cabo ever, IMO. Fully cored hull, looks fast, very nice lines. If you can afford it.....

Website has all the specs, pricing.

52 Express is a great running boat and I'm sure the 52 FB will also be a great performer however there is plenty of strong competition in that size range.

I'd be nice to have the problem on which to pick. The 52' Viking is probably the benchmark for a CV this size, and with good reason. Generally, I prefer the lines of the Vikings to Cabo, but in this case the 52' Cabo is a real surprise. It would be a tough call.

The Cabo looks to have targeted the Viking in the design phase, (slightly) larger beam, more fuel (+200 gal) and more power (1675 hp C32 available). Nobody does a nicer interior than Viking though, but the systems work (wiring and engine install) is better in the Cabo. So is the glass work.

If memory serves, the 52' CV at the Miami show had a mid ship master, which is not shown on the website, and brings the layout on par with the Viking.

The Cabo has only a few options to check, almost everything is standard, the Viking has pages of stuff, everything is an upcharge. I suppose if you really have the money to throw $1.7mm on one of these sleds, you welcome the opportunity to customize with options, for me, I find the endless upcharges distasteful.

If it were my money, I would wrestle with it for weeks, but in the end, I think I'd lean towards the Cabo w/C18's.
