There are brand new boats that size and a little bigger that are floor plan repos that are selling for about $80k. Banks are getting desperate, the end of the year would have found better prices because they wanted to get them off the books, but you can still find the deals. Look for making an offer at the end of the month, or at the end of the quarter. Look for the repos, make a low ball offer but be prepared with cash or your own financing(cash is preferable), and be willing to go to them and close fast. I wish I was in a place to buy a boat right now. I feel for the guys that have to try and dump a used boat to make ends meet, because the big boys are trying to dump new ones, sometimes for the same money as used.
