    broad band radar

    i haven't been on here for a while but i'm still looking for radar. i've looked at si tex new 900 siries, but now looking into the simrad broad band radar. i was wandering if anyone would have some input on either of these

    broad band radar

    I assume you mean digital radar. The Stex/Koden T-941 with a 4kw 25" Radone is a great unit for offshore use. It has split screen ability so that you can view two different ranges at once. Has lots of features for the low price. Runs about $3500.
