Need some help please
I have a bad Bravo 1 gimbal housing, hinge pins ovaled out, etc. Boat was bottomed out when the water was blown out of the river by a nasty north wind, sat on bottom for 2.5 days
Right now I can't afford a brand new one, almost 2k
I heard an Alpha Generation 2 is compatable and will work in place of the Bravo, my mechanic has not heard this.
Does anyone know if this true
I read that if you are switching from an Alpha gen 2 to a Bravo 1 you need to drill 2 new holes, so I guess I could just fill in the extra holes from the Bravo. Does it work the same way backwards?????
reason I am asking, I have a friend that had a tree fall on his boat, destroyed the boat, motor and outdrive perfect. He basically has a brand Gen. 2 gimbal housing for cheap
I really appreciate any help you guys can give me
Thanks Dave
