Boston Whaler or Hydra Sports

We are in the process of buying our first fishing boat. We have narrowed the search down to the two boats that we feel would fit our needs and desires. These are the Boston Whaler 305 Conquest 2008 model or the Hydra Sports 2900 VX 2007 model, but still brand new boat.
We are searching for opinions since we don't know much about boats.
In addition, these two boats are close in price.

Any opinions from owners of either of these models?

I have a 2006 HS 2900VX and be glad to answer an questions. Both boats are very similar in layout and function but the BW will cost you about $50K more for the same options (when I looked). I bought mine new and have been fishing the heck out of ever since both inshore and offshore out of Virginia. I got the generator package and I often spend the night either on the hook inshore or on the drift offshore. I have the Yamaha F250s and believe it's powered about right. The performance numbers on the yamaha bulletin are spot on accurate.
