BOSSMAN Boat Engine Compartment Heater - Question

When testing my Bossman heater by plugging it in outside below 45 degrees, I don't feel heat coming from the unit blowing air. Is that normal or is the air coming from the unit slightly warm?

I don't know about that specific unit, but the bilge heater I have is designed to keep the bilge just above 50 and no it does not give off high temp heat like a typical electrical heater. Think about what could happen with a red hot coil in a bilge.
