boat winterizing/fuel tank

Should I leave my 208 aluminum fuel (gas) in my boat empty or full? I am hearing conflicting opinions. Yamaha powered.

If you check the sites they say to drain the tank. Im going to do the same as always. top off both tanks and add stabil. been running ring free and startron thru the year. no problems so far. twin 2 strokes 150's.
