If a broker called me and said they had a buyer for the Grady, I would be cutting them a check faster than you can say "That minnows got no lips!"

Seriously, I tried to get Morehead Marine to look at my old boat and could hardly get them to walk out to the parking lot. I would be tickled pink with any buying lead.

I think at times there are brokers that think that the deals will just walk in the door to them and not have to work at it. They are normaly the ones crying the blues that the market sucks! Now you just have to work harder. The market is huge anymore with the internet bringing it so far!

i would love to sell my boat thru you and also purchase my new boat thru you..that is how i have run my business for 15 years,there have been tough times but i can sleep good at night knowing i did what was right...

unfortunately i am going to have to take a serious bath on the old one...i am a terrible buyer

Working with the public in your home town or any town for that matter. I couldn't imagine walking in a public place such as a restaurant and have to worry about watching my back!

If everyone thought like this mainly fuel companies and select governments and companies We wouldn't be facing some of the greedy problems that we face today!

Mary, in my opinion you should absolutely contact private sellers. I would love to hear from anyone willing to buy or bring someone to the table who maybe interested in my boat. The market is tough right now and any interest should be welcomed. What is the worst that can happen, they say they don't want to pay the commission. Its their loss more than yours, you will find another boat for your client, but they might not hear from another potential buyer for months. It seems pretty simple business to me. Good luck to you. When you get all set up if you have any interest in helping me sell my 20' Bayliner Trophy that is completely set up for fishing I would love to talk.

As someone who is trying to sell a boat, I would welcome any body who could help bring me a buyer. Broker or not it wouldn't matter. I am selling it for a reason and anyone who could help me with that I would welcome.
