Boat question?

Anyone know about a 1975 SILVERTON Super Sport, 28' ? I am looking into one and would love eveyones input who might have some information about this kind of boat and is it a good choice? Here are some specs ove the boat.

Fiberglass, Outriggers, Downriggers, Twin Inboards, Chryslers 370 cu", 3 Batteries, Thru Hull Exaust, Has recent survey, GPS Chart Plotter, Radar, VHF, Depth Finder Color, Cabin, V Birth, Full Head, S/S Bow Rail, Bow pulpet, Anchor Chain & Rope

you may wanna reconsider this....

silvertons...interesting boats....well suited for cruising around on,they're not really designed to be fishing boats,the ride will be a little sporty...

Nothin wrong with thoses chrylsers they run for freakin ever
how much are they asking for that silverton its not a good sea boat at all

hey hughgoose, my questionable comment was not concerning how well those chryslers run it is the GPH in gas that they would be burning at speed. If you can afford to run it good on you- it would break my bank quick. I have fished in that same size silverton several years ago and it does ride somewhat harsh. I agree that its more of a cruising the intracoastal type of boat than it is a offshore /ocean boat. craig
