There's a lot more going on or just poised to go on.

We're meeting Tuesday to work out the final tower and windscreen design. A decision has to be made if we go with a 3 panel segmented windscreen or a 2 panel radius bent screen.

We're about ready to pull the trigger on the struts, shafts and wheels.

I saw the teak that was purchased for the cockpit sole and once again as luck would have it a shipment just arrived from Burma as the carpenter was there to hand pick the lumber. We got some extra pieces to do a few other details.

We got the cream of the crop some very beautiful pieces. That deck will be exquisite. It will be installed in a few weeks. The Teak covering boards are scheduled to be installed soon now that the new composite transom has been made.

The crew size is increasing to 5 full time, 1 part time and with a carpentry sub-contractor working on the cockpit sole and an electrical contractor handling all of the HVAC and electrical scope.

The engine install has been reviewed by someone from Mack Boring and it's been given the green light.

So the milestones I'm looking forward to next is, installation of the Nidacore and completion of the front deck, the dodger and windscreen mock up, installation of the teak covering boards, teak deck and the installation of the tuna door and mahogany transom cladding.

The making of a masterpiece continues.

The Starboard teak covering board has been installed.

Port side was installed on Friday. The primer was sprayed on the inboard gunnel covers.

The forward deck material has been installed. The 3 hatch holes were covered over with plywood to avoid someone from stepping through by accident

Here's an edge view. 3 layers of laminated around the perimeter of the forward deck for attachment of the mahogany toe rail that will be installed later. All areas around the hatches and perimeter edges are solid wood or multiple layers of plywood including the side deck of the broken shear and where the front dodger will attach. All other infill areas are a laminate of plywood and Nidacore.

Forward edge 2 layers of glass and epoxy being vacuum bagged down

Interior chain locker access panel cut out. Decks are almost ready to get installed.

Tools of the trade.
