thanks for the link,our wildlife resource department has bought a thermal imaging camera,i seen some of the video from it & they can tell bucks from doe's at nite by the blood going to the horns,i never thought about using it for search/rescue.very $ but worthwhile peice of equipment imo.i dont think the flir is as good as the thermal but the range ect is limited by the thermal camera.mike243
