    the BEST and the WORST

I've just realized how lucky we are to have the absolute "best boat built" and the "worst boat ever" represented on this forum. Both owners have drug us through all the in depth details of how they ended up with thier vessels. Thank god some guys just post about regular boats used for fishing and rehabs on interesting older customs ect. The best and the worst seem to get a little tiresome after a while.

just a couple of pics of my wifes and my boat, not the best boat by any means, certainly not the worst, built by Composite Yachts in Maryland (good guys)not worlds best but very capable honest guys who had more than enough talent to satisfy my wife and I.We have enjoyed her now for 5 years hoping to move up at some point but this economy.....if we do we will be looking at building a 44 or 45 express like this one.

Boat has nice lines for sure! I am pretty sure that I have seen the Southern Cross fishing down in VA Beach a year or so ago.

I dunno Marc, that's a pretty sweet fishing boat you got there! I'm envious of a lot of you guys with such great rigs.

Thanks for the compliment,we like it but it does have its limitations. Its not fast by todays standards 25-26knt cruise. Its only 34 feet so big chop......it has yanmar 315s so its pretty economical but they arent the best motors in the world. The gen is northern lights (possibly the best). Its just a real decent all around boat, not great in any particular area. We would really like to move up to a 44 at some point maybe a lil more speed if the economy could still be had.

    Marc,

I guess it'll have to do, if that's all you can afford? That's a pretty boat right there, alot more boat than I'll ever have. I've often wondered is there any end to a person's idea of the perfect boat. I've owned 4 "bigger" commercial boat's. Each one was gonna be my last, that's until about 90 day's past, then it was "well my next boat will have this, this and some of that". It never end's, but you've got a real eye catcher in my boat, right there with what you've got. Frank
