Scrape em and hope the residual doesn't interfere with the pings. Plan on getting a new transducer though....chances are it's toasted.
Let us know if you figure out a way.

    Toasted??? No.

Scrape them, wet sand off the rings and you should be fine depending on the quality of the transducer. If its plastic take it easy on the sanding, scrape gently. If its a Bronze housing set in Epoxy you should be fine.

Put transducer paint on next year if you want. I usually try to scrub mine a few times during the year when I'm in the water, depending on where it is mounted, that may be easier said than done. I still got a few this fall. Mine is a transom mount right now.

    C4 or run aground...

Like he said above. Careful scrape... If dry enough most of the barnacle base goes first shot. Easy on the sandpaper and you should be good to go.

    TRANSHIELD
    Transducer Antifouling Paint

Until now, antifouling paints presented problems with a transducer’s ability to provide accurate and reliable depth readings. Now there’s TranShield – the only antifouling paint specifically formulated to be safe and effective against barnacles on transducers of all sizes. Once applied, TranShield can withstand removal from water without affecting its performance.

    No other comparable product on
    the market
Durable water-based formula that is safe
    on plastic surfaces
Does not interfere with sonar signals
Protects against barnacles on transducers of all sizes
Withstands removal from the water and still maintain its effectiveness
