Go with a downeast.There are lots available in your area for a great price.There's a reason the commercial guys in New England have always run these.Not only are they reasonably priced to buy but also cheap to run and maintain and are tough as nails.

A post-2000 Trophy is worth checking out, better components/construction than most production boats but not a bunch of bling to jack up the price. Trophy's ad says, "All you need without spending all you've got" and as a Trophy owner for the last 3 years, I agree completely with that statement.

This is a great answer up your way. If you are willing to get a bit of fiberglass under your skin, you can get a new hull and deck and do the fitout yourself.
